National Hydrographic Bill Passed By the Parliament

The national hydrographic bill was passed by the parliament today 09^th January 2024 and Sri Lanka National Hydrographic Office functioning under the purview of Ministry of Defence is empowered to conduct hydrographic surveys in SL waters for the production at Electronic Navigation Charts (ENCs) as per the international obligations under SOLAS chapter V Regulation 4 and 9 in order to fulfil the national requirement
